I don’t actually think that you can get the Democratic Party nomination, but you could help save the planet by denying anyone a first ballot victory at the Democratic Convention in 2008!
I’d recommend you do mostly web-casts and newspaper ads, and of course as much broadcast and cable television time as you can afford.
I assure you, I wouldn’t blame you for not wanting to give a speech to a partisan Democratic crowd!
However, you could “really stir things up” by doing this. And you could perform a truly valuable public service -- like perhaps saving the Planet Earth! -- by talking about Israel-Palestine-51-52.
It is my opinion, that there is no other way to rescue the Jewish People of Israel, from being the tip of the sword of European Christian Imperialism in the heart of Muslim Arabia -- and suffering another 30-to-50-years of “annex and expel” -- and the retaliatory, suicidal Intifada.
(I consider the “dominant culture” of both North and South America to be “European”.)

My actual preferred ticket for the Democratic Party in 2008 is Senator Carl Levin for President, and New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson for Vice President.
Senator Levin is a dove and a Jew, and I believe he can implement Israel-Palestine-51-52. This goes a long way towards relieving the anxiety of Israeli Jews -- and of course, U.S. Jews.
The entirety of Israeli military, intelligence, and nuclear forces -- and police under martial law provisions -- shall report to the Secretary of Defense, and the President of the United States of America!
Then we start removing Israeli nuclear weapons -- and try to negotiate a “truly nuclear free Middle East”.
The same will be true for the Palestinians. It’s in the martial law provisions (and in U.S. Statehood provisions) where we can be flexible in dealing with different kinds of problems in different areas.
These provisions must be carefully delineated, and flexible, according to various local circumstances, both in immediate unexpected circumstances, and over time.
TWO STRONG NATIONAL SECURITY DEMOCRATS!
I support Governor Richardson for Vice President in part because he has a strong record in national security and diplomatic matters, and also because he is Latino.
I think he is well qualified to help repair our relations with Latin America after our disastrous -- treasonous, traitorous -- Drug War.
STOP HILLARY! -- STOP ANYONE! -- FROM A 1ST BALLOT VICTORY!
Your job, Mr. Nader, should you agree to accept it, is to gain enough delegates in the Democratic Party primaries to preclude a first ballot victory for anyone, at the Democratic National Convention in 2008.
Then the Convention turns to Senator Levin -- because they want to save the planet.
I support Senator Feingold’s efforts (who is also Jewish), and I would recommend that you collaborate with him to some extent.
However, I don’t think Senator Feingold has the “gravitas” to “do Israel-Palestine-51-52”. Whereas, at the time when Senator Levin voted against the Iraq War, he was Chair of the U.S. Senate Armed Services Committee.
At that time, the House of Representatives was controlled by the Republicans, making Senator Levin the “highest-ranking” National Security Democrat that voted against the Iraq war!
Senator Feingold is over 50, but he looks barely old enough to pass the constitutional requirement that a president be at least 35 years old.
Perhaps he should start to slowly dye his hair gray! (That’s meant as a compliment, Senator!)
The worries of the campaign, and the real worries he would face if he actually became president! That’ll drive anyone to gray!

I’m planning to write Senator Feingold. I will support his efforts toward the same ends as I support yours: to “engineer” a Carl Levin nomination for President of the United States.
I tried to persuade Senator Levin to become a candidate for President in 2004, but he did not do so. To be “practical”, I’m not sure he could win the nomination without something “noteworthy”.
I think advancing Israel-Palestine-51-52 would be “noteworthy”, but Senator Levin takes a big risk doing that. Maybe he doesn’t even want to.
If you can do “some heavy lifting” -- I’m hoping to present Senator Levin with a “fait accomplie” -- at the convention in 2008. It may take a Russian military alliance with Iran to “speed up his thinking” about a truly “nuclear free” Middle East.

I was very pleased to hear your support for a Democratic Congress in 2004.
I urge you to expand this approach, to advance the idea that Mr. Bush and cohorts intend an extended war -- but that the U.S. Congress CAN stop that war -- and that almost certainly requires a Democratic Party Congress.
John Roberts of CBS News, on 2005-10-10 quotes Mr. Cheney as saying it would take -- not months -- not years -- but decades -- to achieve our objective!
And the Boy Emperor told us only a few days ago, that the responsibility for extricating the United States from his quagmire in Iraq -- will fall to “the next president”.
When Israel nukes Iran, they want 100,000 battle hardened U.S. troops standing there in Iraq -- in the way -- when the Ayatollah tells millions of Iranians to grab a gun and head west to liberate Jerusalem.
It will be like bulldozing the Iraqi draftees into the sand dunes in Gulf War I. We will kill a very large number of Iranians -- and I want to avoid that!

My personal goal is to seize control of the Democratic Party -- myself! I think the “good guys” must seize power fast, or we may have to blow up the planet.
The United States, Russia, and Israel -- the Big Three nuclear powers -- that’s power.
The Democratic Party and the Republican Party -- that’s power. That’s the only power there is in the United States.
(Not that either one is even remotely “small-d” democratic. Huey Long once said, “Of course we will have fascism in America but we will call it democracy!”)
This system is severely biased against smaller political parties. It will take time to change that, and in the meantime, we may have to blow up the planet.

Several reporters are starting to remark that the best thing that could happen to the Democratic Party would be if the U.S. Supreme Court would overturn Roe v. Wade!
Progressive majorities take over most of the State Legislatures and the U.S. Congress, and pass proper abortion rules in the States -- that will be “mostly” as if Roe v. Wade were still in place.
At the same time, we revive and pass the ERA -- the Equal Rights Amendment -- exactly as previously worded.

I’m in favor, that wherever it seems practical, for pushing hard to defeat Democrats who support the war -- in their party primaries.
I think we should do the same in the Republican primaries, and while I would expect better results in the Democratic Party Primaries, there could develop a significant “groundswell” of anti-war Republicans.
I think we would have some “goodly” number of anti-war Republican Party Primary victories -- and where Republican hawks win their primaries -- we will have a number of anti-war Republican voters who will very possibly -- vote for an anti-war Democrat in November 2006 and 2008.
Southern Republicans and many military families may soon start to feel that they should abandon the Republicans. Especially in the South, there are large numbers of African-American voters -- and if they have a big turnout on Election Day -- they can join some “common sense” Republicans -- and throw out a bunch of them bums!
African-Americans and Latinos are heavily represented in the U.S. Military. Many of them come from poor families, and their families are becoming disaffected with the military culture.
African-Americans vote about 90% Democratic, but the Republicans have made big progress with Latinos -- many of whom are conservative Catholics influenced by abortion politics -- and the Boy Emperor’s “religiosity”.
(How many people actually believe Mr. Dub the Shrub is some kind of “alternate dimension” Jesus freak?! People want to believe, but I think today’s GOP may be “curing” them of that! As far as I can tell, they aren’t competent in doing anything -- except stealing huge amounts of money!)

In 1750, there were about 5,000 Jews in Palestine, west of the Jordan River. (The Turks -- the Ottoman Empire -- had allowed Jewish immigration into Palestine since about 1500.)
There was not significant Jewish emigration from Europe to Palestine until about 1870, and by 1900, if I remember correctly, the Jewish population of Palestine was about 100,000 -- mostly centered around Jerusalem.
It wasn’t until after Hitler’s Holocaust that several million Jews arrived, which gave them enough people to actually establish a country.
Except for the Nazis, or some kind of “Divine Guidance”, Israel probably wouldn’t have become an actual country.

Israeli policies against the Palestinian Arabs have been horrific. They have been practicing “ethnic cleansing” from the beginning, including deliberate military attacks against civilian communities. Their policy since 1948 has been “annex and expel”.
Former Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin admitted leading such military attacks against Palestinian civilians as a young Israeli Army officer. When he became Prime Minister, he tried to be a peacenik, and got murdered for it!
Atonement for the sins of European Christians against the Jews -- is not a matter for Palestinian Arabs. It is a matter for European (and American) Christians. The Nazis called themselves Christians, you know.
Hitler killed millions of Jews, and so then we are supposed to destroy Palestine?
Atonement for “Judeo-Christian” sins against Palestine is a matter for “Judeo-Christians”.

Most people imagine that Iran intends to develop nuclear weapons. It might be 10 or 20 years from now, or perhaps sooner.
At some point, Israel will hit Iran hard at many specific locations -- everywhere they believe there are nuclear weapons facilities or possibly even storage of nuclear warheads.

My solution is found on www.israel-palestine-51-52.org. The briefly bi-national Israel-Palestine become the 51st and 52nd States of the United States of America. I also support Statehood for the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico (with the other U.S. possessions in the Caribbean) as the 53rd and 54th States.
In the bi-national phase, each person chooses their passport, and which elections they vote in. It will actually be a tri-partite system, with International Treaty Law -- and U.S. Statehood Treaty Law -- determining matters of conflict between individual Israelis and Palestinians.
This allows Jewish protection against the so-called “Arab Population Bomb” -- there are two separate systems of voters’ lists. At the same time it allows Palestinian refugees the Right of Return to the land of their parents and grandparents.
I then call -- quickly -- for a Statehood Treaty between Israel-Palestine and the United States, to last for at least 75-years. This will essentially be a 75-year military protectorate.
This gives Palestinian Right of Return to the land of their parents and grandparents, AND an “ethnically pure”, democratic, Jewish Israel.

We will need special statehood legislation, and official martial law (for up to 75-years) to help reconcile Jewish and Muslim religious practices with the U.S. Constitution.
This will be for things like religious instruction and prayer in public schools, and of course “Muslim Civil Marriages”! -- without violating equal rights laws in the U.S. and hopefully soon, the Equal Rights Amendment.
As I said earlier, the martial law provisions must be carefully delineated, and flexible, according to various local circumstances, both in immediate unexpected circumstances, and over time.

There is a precedent for special statehood legislation. Texas was an independent nation before it became a State, and because of that they have “more privileges” than other States. For instance, they get to tax oil revenues out to 12-miles at sea instead of 3-miles.
Indeed, it has been the law of the United States of America since 1845, that if the government of Texas decided to do so, they could become five new States, each with two U.S. Senators!
(It’s an interesting historical question, as to whether Texas’s joining the Confederacy would negate that provision. It would depend on conditions set in the “return to Statehood statutes” for the 11-States of the Confederacy. As I remember, it was returned to the “status quo ante”. And Texas has continued to exercise the 12-miles Statehood provision. I remember something similar about Florida, perhaps relating to the Seminole Indian Nation.)

My point is, that we must take extraordinary efforts -- with statehood legislation and martial law -- to accommodate both Jewish and Muslim religious sentiment. (I don’t know what Palestinian Law says right now, about a man having more than one wife. I presume they permit it.)
I will only draw the line at cruel and unusual punishments such as executions for adultery, and amputations of a hand (and maybe a foot) for thievery.
This would never be acceptable to the vast majority of the people of the United States, and I hope the Palestinians would take some of our most sincere beliefs into their account -- of how to negotiate a good and lasting peace settlement.
These brutally severe, irreversible punishments, are forbidden as “cruel and unusual” under the U.S. Constitution.
I think there are many Palestinians, who individually, have that point of view.
I’m a bit nervous of course, but everyone says to trust democracy!
(I’m trying to be sardonic here! We haven’t seen democracy in the United States since alcohol prohibition! We don’t even know what democracy means. It sounds good, but we don’t really know!)

There is another problem that would have to be dealt with. I recently read that the Muslim Holy Koran says it is permissible for a husband to beat his wife under certain circumstances.
I don’t know if we tell the Palestinians, “You must have a law against wife beating.” I would certainly recommend that they would have such a law! And I would of course, recommend divorce to physical violence. It is the religious sanction of violence that I oppose.
What do the laws of the Palestinian Authority say about this now? Perhaps wife beating is against their law now. I hope so, and maybe this will not be such a big problem. I don’t want Palestinian men thinking that “we infidels”, are ramming “infidelity” down their throats.

A Palestinian man might say, “You have Caesar’s law.” -- and picking up a copy of the Muslim Holy Koran -- “I have God’s law.”
Let us be clear, plenty of “Judeo-Christian” men also beat their wives -- regardless of what the law says. Indeed some will kill their wives for “suspected adultery” -- regardless of what the law says.
For the United States to allow wife beating, I think should be considered “state-sponsored violence”. War and capital punishment are “state-sponsored violence, and I assure you, I don’t like those either!
For myself, a wife must be able to leave what she considers to be a “bad marriage”. To have the kind of society where this option can be practically considered, young girls must be well educated, and later, they must have the means to get a good job.

I believe that the Palestinians are among the great victims of the 20th Century -- they have been grievously humiliated since World War II.
It is because of this, that I believe we must be sympathetic to the psychology of the Palestinian man.
And now, I want to tell you why that is so important. It’s the “humiliation factor”.
It is “his job” -- his religious duty -- to protect his family and to protect his means to provide their livelihood -- and he hasn’t been able to do that since the enactment of “The Catastrophe” -- the creation of the “modern day” aggressively expansionist, fascist Israel -- after World War II.
The Palestine man may feel that he is humiliated in the eyes of his family. If we “demand” that he forsake something that is permitted him in his Holy Book, the Koran, he may feel an ultimate humiliation and betrayal.
There are limits to the amount of humiliation and betrayal that anyone can countenance -- especially men -- and this brings us to the matter of Darwinian Psychology!
Freud and Darwin were historical contemporaries. I once read that Freud was interested in whether there were implications for psychology from Darwinian biology. I can’t remember if the two actually corresponded.

I’ve been strongly influenced by Robert Wright’s book, “The Moral Animal: The New Science of Evolutionary Psychology”.
He has about 100-pages of an extremely dry and boring discussion about the “genetic psychology” of sexual selection.
As I said, it is extremely dry and boring, but I also think it is probably the most important 100-pages I have ever read!
An interesting side note, I once read, is that male “evolutionary psychologists” usually highlight the “macho” aspects of this, while women are more likely to highlight the cooperative social aspects.
Everyone agrees that basic aspects of human psychology are determined by our DNA -- which is subject to Darwinian factors, such as “natural selection”.

My personal interpretation, is that male violence against women is the “yin vs. yang” of female humiliation against men. In the Darwinian-DNA sense: That’s just as good!
I was talking with a male friend once, and I said, “She (women) survived Darwin’s Jungle, just like you did.”
In the “DNA sense”, the ultimate humiliation of a woman against a man, is to have another man’s baby.
I would make the less violent corollary: of wife beating vs. threatening to have another man’s baby.
That’s The “Balance” In The War Between The Sexes!
I didn’t say this was a “nice, comforting” theory, I’m merely saying it is good science. Science explains and predicts.
In both instances:
This process is called “natural selection”. Which genes “are selected” to go forward to the next generation?
These genes are “selected” in the sense that “their host” -- the biological being -- stays alive long enough to start a sex life.

The “theory” of gravity “explains” that an attractive force between two “objects with mass” exists, and “predicts” that this force will cause the two “masses” to move towards each other at an increasingly accelerated speed.
The various “theories” of medical science “predict” that if you fall off a cliff, and shortly later hit the ground at 100-miles per hour or so -- your body will be damaged to the extent that you would almost certainly die from your injuries.
It isn’t a “pretty” theory, but it is good science!
They Do It Anyway!
Men who go off to fight the invaders, “from the next county” know ahead of time that they may get killed. The reason, “they do it anyway” is a critical fact about human nature -- about basic human psychology.
“They do it anyway, because our DNA is organized around the survival of ITSELF -- DNA -- not necessarily the survival of the individual human who has that DNA!
“By the law of averages” -- this psychological trait helps the tribe survive -- it helps the human species survive. Does it benefit a tribe to have a particular “gene mutation” that makes them aggressive -- that enables (“constructs”) the human psychological emotion for aggression -- that makes them go try to kill another tribe that “was in possession” of water and food.
The men got fat and lazy, and the “wanderers” who happened by, were hungry and desperate! Survival of the “fittest”, isn’t always a pretty story.
Enacting an aggression, that may get you killed, was not especially more dangerous than many other possible ways you could die -- trying yourself to survive -- in what I call “Darwin’s Jungle”.
If a random genetic mutation happened to someone -- some individual -- of our “pre-human ancestors” -- that made them aggressive -- they could be better able to command “scarce resources” -- like food and water for themselves and their families.
All of this I call “Darwinian emotions”. The boundaries of our human psychology are “mostly determined” by our genetic makeup -- our DNA. “According to the law of averages: Does the tribe survive?”
The loss of some individuals -- while bad luck for the individual -- is accepted “naturally” as part of our “psychology DNA-structure”.
If we were in “Darwin’s Jungle” 200,000-years ago, and our ancestors didn’t fight and risk their lives to repel that gang from the next county -- everyone lost -- everyone died.
Those “non-fighter genes” caused “their human-cousin owners -- so to speak -- of those genes -- to lose food and water -- and probably die before having children -- who would be the ones who would have to pass on those genes.” These genes became “extinct”.
These random DNA changes that come along are “naturally selected” -- passed on to the next generation -- if they make the tribe more likely to survive.
We have almost the same DNA as “our first ancestors” in “Darwin’s Jungle” -- 200,000-years ago. The “Jungle Jim” emotions have been “mostly shared” -- by every male since then!
Every generation of males has the same DNA that makes him sometimes go off and fight.
Biological evolution only progresses when circumstances are severe, and some random genetic mutations causes a change in an individual (plant or animal of any kind) -- that makes that individual more likely to survive in a severely harsh environment.
This would be a genetic “happenstance” -- perhaps a “cosmic particle” of some kind that started “catching up with us” -- slowly -- since one-trillionth of a second after the Big Bang.
When these cosmic particles happen to “smash into” electrons or nuclei of a critical ACGT molecule -- in particular in a seed, or in male or female reproductive cells -- the resulting individual has a different DNA “structure” than even his or her, brothers and sisters.
Is this “new gene” good or bad? Mostly these “mutations” are bad. But once in a while, these new “mutations” added something to the “resulting individual’s” body strength, mating ability, or indeed, some psychological attitude -- that made his or her progeny more likely to survive than the others.
Their compatriots -- that didn’t have that small genetic advantage -- were less likely to survive long enough to pass THEIR genes to the next generation.

The critical point here, is that life in Darwin’s Jungle has always been very harsh.
Most individuals did not survive long enough to reproduce themselves -- so a “small genetic advantage” could sharply increase an individual’s probability of landing in the happy 5% of “survivors”.
Most of the brothers and sisters of early humans did not survive long enough to propagate THEIR genes to the next generation.

While many behaviors may have terrible risk for the individual -- in genetics -- all falls before the law of averages.
In particular, how many of the new generation have some particular genetic trait? Extinction is forever, that’s the rule, for genes, and for species.
We see how this works for survival of the tribe, as being more important than survival of the individual. It’s the law of averages.
Robert Wright’s book also discusses the current scientific theory, of the problem of jealous men beating and even killing their spouses -- whom they “suspect” of being unfaithful.

This is simply “the Law of Averages”. If a man beats his mate, and she becomes faithful, the genetic “component” of his “new DNA” -- gets passed to his biological heir. This is “utilitarian” DNA -- replicating itself!
An even more difficult aspect of this “evolutionary syndrome” is that if the male kills his unfaithful mate -- he has a better chance of finding another mate -- who will be faithful -- and again -- his “new DNA” -- gets passed to his biological heir.
This Is “Utilitarian” DNA -- Replicating Itself!
That’s what makes it work. That’s the agenda -- DNA has a “life and logic” of its own -- which ultimately is independent of the fate of the individual who possesses those genes!
The scientists tell us that the reason people sometimes commit adultery, is that a person’s probability of being killed for adultery -- isn’t much more than many, normal, daily activities in Darwin’s Jungle!
And Adultery Makes Babies!
This is how “adulterous genes” make it into the human genome. At the same time -- jealously murderous genes -- also advance themselves into the human genome -- by the Law of Averages!
The critical fact, is that our human DNA is almost the same as it was 200,000 years ago. It has changed very little in the time since our species first appeared on the Planet Earth.
Evolution -- the incorporation into a species of “new” or mutated DNA -- only works when this new DNA gives the individual a “qualitative” survival and procreation benefit.
In today’s modern world, at least in most of the developed countries, our medical advances have proceeded so far -- that people who used to die because of genetic problems or “inefficiencies” -- now survive -- to procreate their genes to the new generation.
Evolution only works if “most” of a population dies -- WITHOUT -- some new “genetic advantage”. This happens by the Law of Averages. It’s called “natural selection”.
Because Darwin’s Jungle was such a dangerous place -- most individuals never lived long enough to reproduce themselves.
A kind of “entente cordiale” took place. Committing adultery was only one of many different ways our ancestors could die in Darwin’s Jungle.
Again, by the Law of Averages, certain risk taking was rewarded in our DNA structure. Adultery caused more babies -- than were “apprehended adulterers killed”!
Whether it was adultery, or protecting young children, or aggressively trying to seize “new territory” -- with good food and water -- or anything else that had to do with survival -- certain risk taking became embedded in our DNA structure. We have almost the same DNA today.
That’s why our human DNA gives individuals the capacity, and sometimes the “near compulsion”, for individual recklessness.

Our high minded -- and extraordinarily hypocritical -- sanctimony does not count for much. I call it “fascist sanctimony”. God told ME! how YOU! -- are supposed to live your life!

The Palestinians too, are grievous victims of Hitler’s Holocaust. If “our side” gets too “pushy” -- too high-minded “sanctimonian”! -- We’re going to blow up the planet!
It’s not OUR “sophisticated frame of reference” that is of concern to the grievously offended Palestinians, who are needed to hope, that they can achieve a just peace.
The Palestinians are the victims here. We must not forget that!
Let us put together something that will achieve a 75-year “cease-fire”!
***** Palestinian Right of Return
Until I thought of the idea of two new States for the United States of America, I had recommended that Palestinians be gradually returned to Palestine at the rate of about 1.5% per year for the next 75-years -- the minimum length of the treaty for the bi-national Israel-Palestine west of the Jordan River-- accumulating to 100% near the end of the 75-years..
I was afraid that the Israelis would be too afraid to allow anything much faster than that in a bi-national treaty intended to be long-lasting.
With U.S. Statehood however, I believe this can be much more generous to the Palestinians -- so as to imagine that this “free movement of peoples to their homeland” would not present any serious practical problems.
The new “Israeli-Americans” will have the express protection of the United States Government, as of course, will the new “Palestinian-Americans”.
Additionally, all Israelis and all Palestinians, can legally move to any of the “Old 50” or other U.S. possessions -- including America’s very own apartheid -- Washington, D.C.
With two separate voting systems, Israeli Jews will no longer feel threatened by the so-called “Arab Population Bomb”. And with the sincere protection of the Government of the United States, they should be able, “to take one more chance for peace.”
I read not long ago of an opinion poll of Palestinian refugees in many countries, which found that most Palestinians would not want to return to their homeland immediately.
This number would surely begin to increase if they had the choice to return to a peaceful Palestine!

You can have towns that are “mostly Jewish” and towns that are “mostly Palestinian”. All the Palestinian districts will cover the entirety of Israel-Palestine-51-52 west of the Jordan River -- as will all of the Israeli districts.
If you are a Palestinian and you live in a “mostly Israeli” town -- you still vote in the Palestinian election -- for the Palestinian district where you live-- and vice versa for Israelis.
People will have to get together on a few things like road taxes, and water and sewage systems.
The United States must immediately begin reparations payments to all Palestinians, with (or considering) triple payments to all refugees in foreign countries. (Perhaps “triple” is too much, but I would favor considerable additional subsidies to the refugees.)
I have previously recommended $10-billion per year for 37.5 years and $5-billion a year for another 37.5 years.
Perhaps half of this goes to funding public infrastructure projects, and pension and medical systems -- and half in monthly deposits directly into individual bank accounts.
If there are 10-million Palestinians in the world, that would be about $1,000 per person per year -- or $500 cash per person per year. I’m inclined to have almost all of the money in the 2nd “37.5 year period” go directly to individual bank accounts.
There should also be favorable business loans to all Palestinians to encourage and help individual owners of small businesses -- fruit stands and such things -- to succeed, with particular attention to those who have had their grape and olive farms “denuded” -- by the “sacred order” of “God’s Chosen People”.
Americans just don’t understand Holy War very well. I think everyone needs to back off a bit -- and try to construct a “cease-fire” in place -- for the next 75-years.

Do You Want To Save The Planet? Israel-Palestine-51-52.
Very quickly, these two “states” become the 51st and 52nd States of the United States of America. I also support statehood for the District of Colombia and Puerto Rico, including the U.S. Virgin Islands and other U.S. Possessions in the Caribbean -- as the 53rd and 54th States of the USA.
The entirety of Israel’s nuclear, military and intelligence forces -- and under martial law provisions, the police -- must come under the direct authority, command and control, of the President of the United States of America.
I want that President to be Mr. Carl Levin. Senator Levin is a Michigan Democrat. He’s a dove and he’s a Jew. I think that is very important to ease Jewish fears of Israel-Palestine-51-52.

Israel-Palestine-51-52 will of necessity, be a tripartite system -- with U.S. Statehood Law and International Treaty Law -- litigating civil and criminal complaints between two parties -- when one is Israeli and one is Palestinian.
This is of course, the very core of my peace proposal.
Will the Palestinians make peace if they actually believe they will achieve full and equal democratic rights -- as an “almost independent state” -- under a 75-year (or longer) military protectorate of the United States Government?
Keep in mind that they will get two U.S. Senators, and perhaps 10 or 15 U.S. Representatives. If their people want to complain about something, they can watch their Representatives and Senators -- live on C-SPAN!
I think that is worth something. The U.S. Congress is arguably the most powerful organization on the planet.

Each party receives two U.S. Senate seats each -- and if you add DC and Puerto Rico -- we have a good chance for 8 new progressive U.S. Senators -- with a proportional number of U.S. Representatives.
The statehood legislation can cover a lot of territory, and with 75-years of martial law, we can accommodate cultural differences better -- and not violating the law or the U.S. Constitution.
In this way, we preserve an “ethnically pure AND democratic” Jewish Israel -- and we allow Palestinian Right of Return to free and equitable participation in a democratic society -- in the land of their parents and grandparents.
We must do this to neutralize Israel’s reckless nuclear threats (and other covert threats). It’s just that simple.
The real purpose for Israel-Palestine-51-52, is that this brings Israeli military, intelligence, and nuclear forces under (presumably) legitimate authority. They will report directly to the Secretary of Defense, and the President of the United States.
At the same time, the United States should announce that we wish to negotiate a truly “nuclear free” Middle East!
This is the only thing we have to offer to the Arab and Muslim Nations. It would be extraordinarily magnanimous of them to accept my “Two-State Solution”.
They would be perfectly justified in telling all us “Judeo-Christian-Imperialists” to go straight to Hell -- and stay there to burn in unimaginable torment -- forever, and forever, and forever.

Do you think the Arabs might actually start to work for peace, if they could get “non-reckless” authorities in control of Israel’s vast and varied military, nuclear and intelligence resources?
Might even the Iranians “go diplomatically slow” on developing their nuclear programs if “a legitimate authority superpower” took control of the entirety of Israel’s nuclear forces, and started removing them, and again, announced that it wished to negotiate a truly “nuclear free Middle East”?
I’ve also read that the Israelis are having difficulties with radioactive waste -- as does everyone else that messes with that stuff!
I’m advising the Iranians to try to cooperate with President Putin. 50,000 years is a very long time if you are “isolating” decaying radioactive waste.
My only question is whether the Russian President would be willing -- and able -- to deliver a “significant strategic response” to the U.S. (or Israel) -- if they really hit Iran hard enough to destroy large numbers of underground nuclear facilities.
They couldn’t avoid large numbers of Iranian civilian casualties. This looks like a “rough row to hoe” to me!
Perhaps the strategy for Russia and Iran is to form a strategic alliance while Iran is gradually learning how to do “nuclear stuff” -- and if the United States does not “seize control” of Israel with Israel-Palestine-51-52, I would expect that after some time, Iran will indeed start to make nuclear bombs.
I don’t blame the Iranians for “feeling nervous” right now, and that may affect how receptive they are for a “go slow” approach!
I’m feeling pretty nervous right now, myself. Until Mr. Cheney -- aka Mr. Lapdog -- is “dethroned”, and a legitimate, democratic, republican, constitutional government is re-installed in the United States -- the Iranians may want to go “faster” rather than “slower”.
If they really decide to make some atomic bombs, I would recommend that they go through the procedures of withdrawing from the non-proliferation treaty.
This is how things are going to go, until we implement Israel-Palestine-51-52.

And this returns us to the matter of Mr. Putin! Would he? Could he? -- protect Iran?
I suppose the Russian Air Force is still pretty big, and it isn’t very far from Russia to Iran -- as supersonic jets fly.
The last I heard Russia has about 3,000 or 4,000 hydrogen bombs and a bunch of MIRV’ed ICBM’s.
The only way to completely destroy Iranian nuclear facilities would be to drop a bunch of very big “bunker buster” hydrogen bombs. And that would open the door to a Russian strategic response.
Once again: Would he? Could he? Is the President of Russia in actual control of Russia’s nuclear forces? Or is it perhaps a “Rump Committee” of U.S. CIA, Israeli Mossad, and British MI-6 former Cold War spooks?

I’ve read that Russia’s nuclear submarine fleet is in great disrepair, but Mr. Putin himself told us recently, that Russia had invented a rocket that can zig and zag after it has already been launched.
Israel is the third largest nuclear power in the world with up to 500 nuclear weapons and perhaps as many as 100 hydrogen bombs. They have airplanes, missiles and submarines. They could do extremely serious harm to “large numbers of people”
I’m sure they would rather the U.S. “do the nuking” of Iran! The Russians might want “to do the same thing to Israel” as the Israelis had done to the Iranians.
The United States will of course work zealously to precipitate a “coup d’état” in Iran -- to effect “regime change”.
When this “doesn’t happen very soon” -- when does Israel “get too nervous” -- about Iranian nuclear research that “could be” used to make actual nuclear bombs?

I was surprised to learn a few years ago, that the best population estimate of the number of Jews in Palestine west of the Jordan River in 1750 was about 5,000. There have not been millions of Jews there since Moses.
The Arabs consider Israel nothing more than a special variant of European Christian Imperialism, and I’m inclined to agree.
This is why we didn’t go into Iraq with about 400,000 U.S. troops, to secure the borders, and seize the large stockpiles of conventional weapons spread over the Iraqi desert, take over the army and police, and take care of business. They didn’t even look through these stockpiles looking for WMD’s!
Israel wants a weak government in Iraq that can never provide security on its on -- thereby insuring the continued presence of U.S. troops there for a very long time.
Israel wants 100,000 American troops nearby, to further intimidate anyone from attacking Israel -- for the next 30-years while they push the Palestinians east of the Jordan River.
And during these 30 or so grievous years, the Boy Emperor’s friends get to steal truly enormous amounts of money from the Iraqi people -- while poor people’s children kill and die -- for rich people’s profit and imperial control.
I presume Israel’s nuclear threats are the reason we went to war in Iraq (besides profit and imperial control of vast oil resources.)
If we could actually prove that this was Rumsfeld’s war plan -- the act of not telling the Congress would be considered treason!

I’m sure you’ve noticed that the best accounting of Iraq’s oil revenues shows up to $20-billion is “missing” since we took over Iraq. We’re getting down to stealing as much as we can -- as fast as we can.
I’m planning to write former Prime Minister Peres, to encourage him to begin advancing the idea of U.S. Statehood for Israel-Palestine -- to get ready for the next Israeli national elections. I recently read that he was the politician responsible for Israel’s hydrogen-bomb program.
I think it’s possible that a vigorous discussion of this issue would generate many more peacenik voters for the U.S. Congress -- including liberal Jews that don’t like how things are going with right-wing Judaism and their dominance of Israel.

I’ve heard a few reports a year or so ago, that there are Israeli Mossad “advisers” to the U.S. Forces in Iraq. U.S. Brigadier General Kapinski told the BBC (in a recent report) that she met one interrogator, a few years ago, at an undisclosed secret prison -- who said he was Israeli.
I think this is enormously stupid. My opinion is that these Mossad “advisers” are actually there to act as political compliance officers.
I think it’s a smokescreen for the news to focus on: “How far above Lt. Gen. Sanchez does responsibility go in the Pentagon?” We all know it goes to the very top.
The real question is what went on from the U.S. Army Intelligence Colonel in charge of Abu Gahreb -- DOWN to those poor folks in all the news pictures.
And indeed was it Mossad that CAUSED these gross violations against Iraqi prisoners -- to help maintain Ariel Sharon’s 30-year war -- by making Iraqis so angry they would refuse to cooperate in a real peace -- and keep those 100,000 American troops nearby?
I have also read that Mossad was causing trouble in Northern Iraq and into Syria.
In another report, a Hassidic Jewish diamond merchant (in Brussels or Antwerp, I think) said he bought diamonds from al Qaeda -- providing cash for the attacks on Madrid recently -- and also Chechnya. He said, “They have their interests, and we have ours.”
I just wonder if Israeli interests to promote Mr. Rumsfeld’s 30-year “Long War” -- inspired them to secretly and covertly “put together and protect” the attacks on the United States on 9-11-2001!
There are some folks who think OBL works for Mossad -- including myself! Whether or not it might actually be true, it makes a good story!
These attacks were so great in advancing Israeli criminal interests, that I must wonder if Mossad were involved in causing them to happen.
If that is actually true, this could explain why Bush has never captured him.
If OBL is indeed an honest Islamic warrior,
Bush still doesn’t want to catch him, because then, they would have no “objective reason” to keep going with their horrific assault on personal liberty in the United States -- which they have instituted.

I urge you to announce your candidacy for the Democratic Party nomination for President in 2008! At primary time 2008, everyone goes as the spirit moves them -- but if you (Mr. Nader) are a peacenik candidate in the 2008 Democratic Primaries -- Greens, Libertarians, and all should support you in the Democratic Party Primaries -- as a reward for your good work over the years!
The purpose is to energize anti-war people to actually vote, and I think you should tell them to “vote straight Democratic” in November 2006 -- unless it is an anti-war Republican against a pro-war Democrat.
Additionally, you should focus your anti-war voting efforts on sparsely populated Western States -- where you can have a big impact on Senate races -- without spending a large amount of money.
In the spirit of Mel Gibson’s character in The Patriot asking his militia to stand the line and fire two shots against British Regulars -- that’s 2006 and 2008:

Depending on how things go, I might be in favor of extending this “pro-Democratic” effort to 2010, to help Democrats in the reapportionment battles.
After 2010, support for Democrats, especially in Democratic Party Primaries, becomes: “Management By Objective”!
I support non-partisan civil commissions to draw the State Legislator and U.S. Congress (House of Representative) lines -- like California Governor Schwarzenegger’s proposal.
In the U.K., a Royal Commission draws district boundaries in some kind of reasonably fair way -- and they don’t have such extreme polarization with all the “deliberately intended to be unfair” partisan gerrymandering.
Hopefully, this will encourage more moderation in both major parties. I think we have to do this to restore democracy.
A federal court drew the 2002 Congressional boundaries in Texas -- and it was quite good. The lines followed city and county boundaries -- except for cities over with more than 600,000 people -- which is about the size of every Congressional District. But even inside big cities -- there are always various kinds of “natural groupings”. This hinges on the drawer’s intent, and of course could be manipulated.
And there is another area of democratic voting rights: I urge you to decry the fact that there are more young African-American men in jail or on parole, than there are in college -- and it is very difficult for huge numbers of former prisoners to actually exercise their right to vote.

Make a special appeal to Reform, Libertarian, Green, Independence, Taxpayer’ Rights parties, AND MOST ESPECIALLY -- disaffected and discouraged peaceniks who haven’t been voting.
There will be all kinds of variations. Sometimes hell-raisers should be candidates in both Democratic and Republican primaries -- other times they should get on the ballot in circumstances in which they can possibly “torpedo” someone particularly reprehensible.
Tell fiscally conservative Republicans that if they want fiscal responsibility from the federal government -- they MUST elect a Democratic Congress!
Make a special appeal to working class people, by pointing out that when Reagan started his big income tax cuts, he also helped Congress raise the Social Security payroll tax, and that this surplus -- instead of being a “money market” reserve for future SSA benefits for the “soon to start retiring” baby boomers -- has already been spent by Reagan, Bush and Bush, with incredibly high military spending, and obscene tax cuts for the wealthy.

Additionally, people who make enough money that they can buy a home, get to take additional mortgage loans -- with tax deductible interest -- to buy a car or a trip to Europe, or for anything else.
People who rent their homes -- who tend to have less money -- don’t get any kind of advantage similar to this.
Working class people’s SSA taxes go up -- while upper class taxes are deliberately being reduced so drastically, that one must assume the purpose is to bankrupt the U.S. Government.
Compare SSA taxes vs. tax credits that benefit only those in the higher income bracket -- including $500 or $1000 tax credits -- non-refundable -- for each child. Poor people don’t get the same help. This is a disgrace! Make these tax credits “refundable”!
And of course, during Reagan’s term, interest rates on 30-year government bonds were about 12% to 14% for at least a year or so.
All kinds of rich people got a big tax cut, and used the money to buy 30-year government bonds -- that will be paying a guaranteed 12% to 14% for another ten years -- FROM NOW!
I would predict how this would go, once again. Eventually, long-term interest rates must go up. Bush and company are making sure that that occurs by their treacherous tax cuts for the wealthy, and their incredible government spending to right-wing and militarist interests.
It was a “done deal” under Reagan. There would be several years of sales of extremely high return, long-term government bonds -- for a while 12% to 14% -- on 30-year bonds. Most of whose buyers had (I presume) secret guarantees of 20-to-30-years of low inflation.
They are getting ready to do it again.
Socialism For The Rich -- Social Darwinism For The Poor!
Now we can watch how Bush intends to skyrocket the deficit AND get us back to those interest rates on 30-year bonds -- with rich people having lots of ready cash, from their continuing stream of huge tax cuts.
I don’t know if the U.S. Government has much choice, other than to do something like this, to keep interest rates high enough, so as to protect the international value of the U.S. Dollar.
Not to do so, could cause a precipitous drop in the exchange rate of the dollar -- with very bad economic consequences for everyone in the world.

Building the Social Security reserve would have actually been accomplished, by the SSA buying outstanding government debt -- held by individual and business investors in the open market -- and thereby, effectively reducing outstanding government debt. (SSA being part of the government.)
In the future, these government bonds -- owned by SSA -- could again be sold on the open market -- to generate cash for SSA benefits.
But now, thanks to Reagan, Bush and Bush, that money has vanished, and the government will eventually have to sell more bonds, most certainly at a higher interest rate, to meet those SSA obligations, which now is represented only by government IOU’s.
The continued debt, and the huge current account deficit each year will eventually force the dollar to devalue even more than in the past few years, and foreigners will begin to imagine that the dollar will continue to decline -- perhaps severely -- so they decide they want higher interest rates on the U.S. Government bonds they buy.
It seems to me, that deliberate government policy is to devalue Social Security, and begin to reduce benefits -- as forced by international money markets. There will be huge amounts of money going to rich people and foreigners -- in high interest payments on extremely secure money.
Because of the deliberate policies of Republican Presidents going back to Ronald Reagan, economic growth -- and health care -- are more and more going to the upper classes.
A second important factor is globalization and outsourcing. India and China and many other countries have very cheap labor, and this places high wage jobs in the United States, especially industrial jobs, at great risk.

India and China both have large numbers of poor people who are well trained and well educated. In a free and fair market, they should get a bunch of good jobs!
This is called outsourcing, and it’s going to cause high-tech U.S. workers to receive a lower salary.

We have plenty of poor people trapped in our inner cities in the United States, but they ARE NOT well trained and well educated.
This is our great shame. And besides, it is stupid -- as in “dis-utilitarian” -- for American patriots.
Instead, in this country, we have a large number of citizens who do not have very much of any good reason to be loyal. And a bunch of their poor buddies (guys and gals) are in Iraq and Afghanistan -- and many of them don’t see much reason to be loyal either.
Many poor people in our inner cities have better reason to be loyal to some “Drug Kingpin”. Plenty of money and plenty of women, what else do you want? And hey! Poor black guy. How else are YOU going to come up with the money to pay the rent?
We didn’t do a very good job of ending slavery 150-years ago!

I urge you to ask almost everyone to vote Democratic in 2006, encourage all of the small parties to advance their adherents in Democratic Party primaries, and in the fall of 2006 -- to vote straight Democratic -- even if the Democrat in the 2006 primaries doesn’t support peace. (Though of course, I would support an anti-war Republican rather than a pro-war Democrat.)
The point here is, that Democratic Congresspeople will be much more subject to party loyalty to support peace, than most Republicans.
I would urge some care in encouraging minority party voters to vote in Democratic Party primaries, or to vote for Democrats in the general elections in November. There might be some minority parties that would lose various kinds of official accreditation in the various states and localities. This is a decision for the individual voter to make.
***** Economic Policy
High wages and pensions in the United States are at risk. To a considerable degree, we must simply adjust to the new economic conditions in the world.
For a considerable number of years after World War II, the United States was the unquestioned economic leader in the world.
It takes a very large amount of money -- capital -- to build an auto plant. In a substantive sense, General Motors, Ford, and Chrysler “dominated” how the auto business would proceed.
At the same time, the United Auto Workers (UAW) worked diligently -- also for a considerable number of years after World War II -- to insure that their members got good wages, medical care and pensions.
Once the initial capital expenditure to build the auto plants had been made, it was not much of a hindrance to pay these good wages and benefits.
They had to sell autos at a considerable markup over “daily operating costs” -- in order pay off the debts and bonds they sold so they could pay for building the factories in the first place. A “little bit higher markup” to pay good wages to their workers was an easy thing to do.

In trying to advance the economic interests of working class people, we must understand that this long era of “modest” competition against GM, Ford, and Chrysler is a “one-time” historical event.
This took place in the aftermath of World War II, during which most industrial installations in most of Europe, and also in Japan, had been destroyed.
There was literally no international competition in most major industrial businesses, and the Yankees ruled.
In addition to the UAW, other labor unions saw how easy it was for their businesses to gradually increase daily operating costs -- with good wages and benefits -- pass the costs on to the consumer -- and still maintain a good profit.
All of this was because there was almost no international competition.
It is this one-time historical period that has given U.S. workers very excellent wages, health care, and pension benefits -- for more than 50-years now.
In the auto industry, the UAW presented a unified front to each of the “Big Three” auto makers.
In other industries, other unions did the same. The labor unions were in effect setting industrial policy regarding wages and benefits, and gradually increasing those demands.
Because there was little international competition, it was easy for the companies to grant those demands.
Things were great for quite a while, everyone was making a good salary; they spent more money on the things U.S. companies built; profits got better, wages just kept going up -- because it was easy -- without international competition.
Now we have intense foreign competition in all areas, including many places that pay their workers very considerably less than what GM pays.

To some extent we could become more like Europe in our industrial policy, but I imagine that eventually, lowly paid, but well trained and well educated work forces in Asia and elsewhere will win out in labor intensive industries -- including most especially -- the software industries!
Japan is far ahead of us in robots for a wide range of industries. This is simply stupid of us to be so far behind.
Coming to a disadvantage because our workers wanted good wages and health insurance for themselves and their children over the past 60-years, is a much more complicated circumstance.
There is a trade-off between companies’ wanting to pay their workers less, and in the companies’ needing that “their countries” -- their sales territories -- have a large number of well-paid workers to be able to buy their products.

The point I’m making is that intensive international competition will act as a continued force, to lower wages in U.S. companies.
Workers can adjust to lower incomes, but if significant numbers of people have less money to spend, this country’s businesses will make fewer sales, and make lower profits.
Over the past 20-years or so, the country’s infrastructure has been allowed to go into disrepair.
The federal government should undertake a huge project to rebuild the infrastructure -- for 10 to 20 years.
We must rebuild roads, bridges, schools, clinics, hospitals, water and sewer systems, city streets, and many other things. This will mean good paying jobs -- which, by their nature, must be located in the United States.
I would recommend that this be promoted as a jobs proposal. We need the new streets and bridges and everything, but I think we must begin to take all the different kinds of ways of increasing good-paying employment.
I see this as an important way to avoid so much social upheaval as very large numbers of well paid workers soon become “not-so-well-paid” or even unemployed.
In publicizing this idea, I would recommend that you continuously point out that this employment project will be good for small businesses -- wherever new workers are employed.
Main Street America has many small businesses whose owners and managers wonder if they can stay in business.
These are “Main Street” Republicans, who see the glitter and the gold and the billionaires, but they don’t see much extra profit in their businesses, and the local auto supplies plant is closing down.

Show the “small business” Republicans how it is in their interest how to do what you want -- which is to advance working people’s wages through increased infrastructure spending.
I think the Republicans are vulnerable as these continuing wage pressures from intense international competition cause local economies to start to crumble.
Tell these small business Republicans that international competition is closing in around them, and that they’d better support infrastructure rebuilding -- so enough local citizens will have a good enough job, to spend money at their store.
This is the “multiplier effect” -- (Economics 102.) If workers have a bit more money to spend, business owners will make a bit more profit, and have more money to spend, themselves.
A bit of this money will go to still other companies, who will then also have more money to spend. The tax system will scam a bit of this, every step along the way, of course.
